Here is the information for the Spanish Club Lunch being held on January 2, 2008. It is at Peruvian Kitchent, and starts at 7:00 pm. Peruvian Kitchen is on Warner Avenue, between Magnolia and Newland. If you have questions abut the address, please go to their web site on the left hand side, or feel free to email me. We will wait a little for latecomers, but want to get seated pretty much after that. Suggestions on price is about twenty dollars, depending on how much you like to eat.

Holiday Events!
Hey Spanish Club Members!
A lot is happening soon, so stay involved.
Spanish Club is having a fiesta during club on Monday, the 17th of December. This is our holidays fiesta. There will be all kinds of amazing food and drinks, fun and music. Cost is only three dollars per plate! What a bargain! If you don't want to pay, bring a dish or food related item, enough for a bunch of people. If you are going to bring something. please let me know so that I can let others know!
Spanish Club is going to have another dinner during winter break. We are planning for the second week of the winter break, probably the 2nd of January. Please pay attention to the blog and your emails for more information.
Please come to our meetings. At meetings, we discuss the club events and go over possibilities for the club to have fun. Hope to see you there!

Spanish Club Meetings
Hey Members!
Quick Information-
Our meetings are still the second and fourth mondays of every month. Please come. We are getting into public service opportunities, fund raisers, and different dinners. We need participation in order to make these things happen!
Our next lunch will be during winter break, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. It will be at another amazing restaurant, so listen up for more information!!

Success in the first Spanish Club Dinner!
La primera cena del club de espanol tenia mucho exito!
Habian muchas personas que vinieron, y comieron con nosotros. Por eso, muchas gracias. Yo espero que ustedes tenian mucho divertido! Por favor, vengan a todas las actividades y cenas que el club de espanol tendra!
Tenemos reuniones del club de espanol todos los lunes, y hacemos muchas actividades alli. Por favor, hagan caso a los annuncios para saber cuando la proxima actividad estara!

First Spanish Club Dinner!
Spanish Club Members,
Our first Spanish Club Dinner will be Friday, November 2, 2007. It will be at Regina's Restaurant, which has Argentinian, Greek, and Italian food. The address is 11025 Westminster Ave. Garden Grove, CA, 92843. We will meet there at 6:00 pm, sharp, and will seat to eat at 6:30 pm. Money-wise, I suggest you bring about twenty or so dollars, depending on how much you eat. This place might cost a little more, but it has huge portions. Share with someone, or take your own!
If you want to come, please let me know as soon as possible, because I have to make reservations and seating is limited. This restaurant is supposedly AMAZING with meat and various Argentinian dishes. I certainly hope that you will all come.

1st Spanish Club Fiesta
Hola Miembros del club del espanol,
Muchas gracias a los estudiantes que vinieron a la primera fiesta del club de espanol. Yo les doy muchas gracias a Justin, Holly, y Laura por su ayuda. En la fiesta, teniamos pollo, pizole, flan, chips y salsa, taquitos, y muchas pasteles mexicanas. Habia mucha comida, y no habian bastante personas para comerla!
Yo espero que la proxima vez todos los miembros vengan a la fiesta para comer, hablar, y divertirse. Ustedes necesitan venir a la proxima reuinon para saber informacion muy importante. Por favor, lean sus correos electronicos para informacion nuevo.

Today was our first fiesta in spanish club. There were tons of students who came and brought food, as well as contributed. Special thanks to Holly, Justin, and Laura for their generous donations. In the fiesta, we had chicken, pizole, flan, chips and salsa, taquitos, and mexican pastries. It was delicious! The cost was only $2.00, a reasonable cost considering the amazing food we had. The cost is only $2.00, but it gives you chicken, soup, flan, chips, tortillas, and drinks, not to mention fun movies, music, and conversation. This is a great oppurtunity, so don't miss it. If you don't want to pay the 2 dollars, please bring in some of the above-mentioned items. Those people who bring money or pay will be given first priority, so be sure to contribute.

Hola Los Miembros del club de espanol! (translation below)
Que bueno era el primero reunion del club de espanol este martes pasado! Los otros lideres y yo estamos my alegros que tantos estudiantes venieron, y partiparon en el club.
Nosotros solamente hablamos sobre que vamos a hacer en el club, que dia queremos tener el club, and que vamos a hacer el proximo reunion. Nuestros reunions van a ser los lunes, y durante el almuerzo en clase B10.
El lunes proximo, por favor, traigan uds. tres dolares para pagar por la fiesta que vamos a tener el lunes proximo de esto. Los otros lideres y you vamos a comprar toda la comida, y traerla, pero necesitamos el dinero para hacer esto! Tambien, si queren uds., pueden traer sus tareas, peliculas favoritas, or musica favorita para escuchar. Por favor, traigan las cosas solamente limpias, nada sucias.

How fantastic was the first meeting of spanish club last Tuesday! The other leaders and I are very happy that so many students came, and participated in the club.
We only spoke about what we are going to do in the club, what day we want to have the club, and what we are going to do at the next meeting. Our meetings are going to be MONDAYS, during lunch in room B10.
Next Monday, please bring 3 dollars to pay for the fiesta that we are going to have during club the monday after that. The other leaders and I are going to buy the food and bring it, but we need the money to do that. Also, if you guys want, you can bring your homework, your favorite movies, or music to listen to. Please, bring only clean stuff, not dirty or inappropriate.

Club Meeting Information
Welcome to all of the new and returning members of Spanish Club!!
We thank you so much for coming to the tables and signing up, saying hi, and eating our candy!
Here is some information you should know. Our meetings, as of right now, are Tuesdays at lunch. This may change, though, to mondays, depending on what is best for the majority of members. If you want to have a say in which day is chosen, either tell us at the meetings, or vote on the poll here on the blog. A decision will be made soon, so don't wait too long!
Our first meeting will be October 9, 2007, which is a Tuesday, in Ms. Oberly's room, or B10. This meeting is important, because that is when we will go over club policies, job openings, and possible events. Be sure not to miss it!
