Hey guys!
The Gingerbread Pueblos were fantastic! Props to all of you who could get yours to stay standing. I hope you enjoyed it, and I appreciate everyone being responsible for bringing their stuff to make the pueblos.
I hope you guys will have a fantastic winter break!
Also, we are not going to do the Empanada Order after all, seeing as how few people were interested. No worries.
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 6th. See you there!

Spanish Club Info 12/9/08
Hey Spanish Club Members!!
We decided a lot of things today at the meeting. First of all, we are going to build Gingerbread Pueblos next Tuesday during lunch in room J7. If you want to make one, please bring supplies (graham crackers, frosting, and candy) for your house. We will supply the cleaning supplies. Please remember that it may get messy, and you should be prepared for that. Let me know if you want to do it!
These people volunteered to bring supplies for the houses:
Graham Crackers: Cody, Spencer, Mick, Robyn
Frosting: Mark, Michelle, Ashley, Carlos
Candy: Ashley, Cody
(sorry if I mispelled anyone's names!!)
We are also going to celebrate the holidays with an Empanada party on Friday, December 19th in room J7 at lunch. If you want to order an empanada, please let me know how many and what kind. They are $3.50 dollars each and they come in beef and chicken. If you want one, you need to email me or let me know by next Tuesday, and pay me by next Tuesday at the latest.
We went through a lot of information concerning the soup kitchen service project, and will continue looking up the specifics for the completion of the project in February.
Our next fiesta will be after Winter Break, and we will be heading out to El Misti for our second dinner over Winter Break. Keep paying attention to the emails for news.

Meeting Info 12/2/08
Hey guys,
So at our last meeting on Tuesday, 12/2/08, we decided that we are going to start looking into different soup kitchens and homeless shelters where we can volunteer. This will probably all happen in February, so there's plenty of time to sign up. If you want to receive a CERTIFICATE at the end of the year from the club showing that you participated for a certain amount of hours, you must sign up and participate.
I have asked EVERYONE in the club to bring the name, number, and info for at least one soup kitchen/homeless shelter in our area, so that we can start deciding when and where. Please don't forget!!
We will probably be having a luncheon around the time of Winter Break, so keep your ears open.
See you next Tuesday at lunch! Room J7.
